The Maine Outdoorsman: Women Gone Wild - Interview:
Steve found me via Twitter and we struck up a conversation about hunting and being a female hunter. Here is my attempt to do the sport justice and represent the female side of things. Hope you all enjoy it!
As you know from my last post, this month I am celebrating the one year anniversary of this blog, 10 years of hunting with my Dad and a milestone birthday. In honor of all three, I want to give away some great Maine stuff to all of you! Rules: 1. Leave a comment 2. On Oct 28 (my big bday), Dad will pick a number and the corresponding post will win. What will you win? A big basket of great Maine and outdoor things! Such as: fly fishing flies, blueberry something, Maine maple syrup, apple butter (to be made by me on Tuesday), something related to deer hunting and a couple of great books signed by local authors. (Pictures will be posted when I am back at a computer). So thank you for your support and for helping my celebrate such a great month!!
The interview was fun, thanks to you for putting up with me and not punching me in the nose. :)
ReplyDeleteRead the interview, that is how I found my way to your blog. nice job.
ReplyDeleteHa! anytime. My goal now is to take photos while Im in the woods - like @Rick has done and post those. I will work to be more hunting focused in the next month!!! Thanks for cheering me on
ReplyDeleteI came over from Rabid's blog. Great interview! I really enjoyed it ...probably because I am a female hunter too and could relate to most of it.
ReplyDeleteNice to stumble across another female hunter...I will be sure to follow!
Thanks so much!!!
